Apply the clay to the body
When being treated with mud therapy method, the soil is dug to a depth of three to five feet from the top of the ground (from the outer surface). Below the depth of five feet, soil without any chemical and acidic elements is extracted. The moist soil is dried and ground into powder. By making dust like this and drying it, the soil is purified even if there are bacteria and germs in the soil.
After making the powder, a fine flour-like powder is prepared by taking the soil and separating the stone and sand parts. After preparing such a fine powder, it can be used according to the need of treatment. According to the nature of the treatment of the physical problems of the person, dusty clay is prepared in different shapes and types.
Some mud is mixed with water to make a chapati shape, some is made into muddy placing in a pond. In some cases, mud is mixed with water in a pot and applied to the person’s body. Mud is used for stomach related problems such as gastic, heartburn, indigestion, ulcers caused due to disturbances in the digestive process.
By adopting this method of treatment, the person is made to fall sleep flat. Then, some soil is put on a thin cloth and make it like roti. In this way, the soil made like bread is placed on the stomach with a cloth. After placing the soil, a blanket or a thick cloth is thrown from above to cover the body. It is advisable to wash clothes in this way to avoid various types of infections in the outdoor environment.
Soil is placed on the stomach for about 20-25 minutes. In this way, when treated with mud, it helps to make the digestion process easier by providing coolness to the stomach naturally. Not only that, this method can be used for problems in body parts such as chest, back, waist and shoulders.

Healthy skin
Clay can be used for itchy skin, rashes, various types of wounds. The clay can also be used for beauty purposes. For the treatment of skin problems, a coating of soaked clay is applied to the affected area. A coating of clay is applied with a brush. It can also be applied all over the body. After applying the mud coating, the mud applied to the body should be allowed to dry for about 15 minutes.
After drying, one should take a bath with hot water that person can bear. Bathing with hot water not only cleans the body but also heals the infected skin. In this way, applying clay on the skin kills the germs on the skin. Not only that, due to the elements present in the soil, the immunity of the skin increases, due to which the skin is healthy and various skin infections can be avoided.
By using clay, problems such as skin odor, offensive armpit odor, and foot odor can be avoided. Similarly, this method can be used for problems like arthritis, gout, uric acid. Applying it on the head in case of mental stress also helps in stress management. It makes easy for a person to stay physically and mentally healthy and agile. Clay called ‘Multani’ is used as a facial in cosmetics. Such clay can also be prepared at home and used as a face pack.

Elements like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, boron, copper and zinc are found in the soil. Firstly, these elements in the soil do not allow the skin to get infected. On the other hand, it helps to control such infections even in the case of skin infections.
However, the soil must be clean and fine. There is less chance of infection from such soil. The natural treatment method made with mud can be done by adults and elderly people.
A healthy person can use this treatment once a month. By using this clay on the face, the toxic elements in the skin of the face will be removed, due to which the skin will glow naturally.
